With mirror size, you choose the shape and size of your mirror.

To clarify, we carry three different shapes of mirrors:

  • Rectangle
  • Square
  • Round
Mirror Size / Shape - Rectangle

Shape: Rectangle
Sizes: 8"x12", 12"x16", 16"x20", 16"x24" and 20"x24".

Mirror Engraving / Shape - Square

Shape: Square
Sizes: 8"x8", 12"x12", 16"x16" and 24"x24".

Laser Mirror / Shape - Round

Shape: Round
Sizes: 8", 12" and 16"

Mirror Size: Position

We can use a rectangle mirror in both ways. Horizontally (landscape) or vertically (portrait).
Rotating a square mirror 45 degrees will turn it into a diamond-shaped mirror

Usually, our creative team makes a position choice based upon the combination of your photo and/or text.

However, if you have a specific idea about the layout, please feel free to let us know! In that case, you can describe your design in detail in the "instructions" box.

Mirror size - Important!

Before choosing a mirror shape or size, please take a good look at the image that you plan to use in the mirror because it may clash with the mirror shape.

For example, if you choose a rectangle mirror, but your picture is square, it will not fit nicely into the mirror. As a result, the image has a hard ending of the image in the mirror, surrounded by uneven mirror strokes.

In addition, if (for any reason) you need a specific mirror shape that doesn't match your image dimensions, we advise you to select the "Optimize Image(s)" option.

Optimize Image(s)

Optimize Image(s) is an optional (paid) option that you can select during the ordering process.

When you opt for this option, our creative team will ensure that your photo is displayed as optimally as possible and that the photo matches your chosen size mirror.

The last example shows the same (square) photo of the dog but now optimized by our creative team. The team removed the background and resized the picture. As a result, the dog is now the main focus and is in harmony with the mirror shape.

More information and samples of "Optimized Images" can be found in the "FAQ menu" at the bottom of every page of our website.
